Pashek + MTR Branding Projects

Summer 2023

brief

Create brand identities for new urban planning projects, and then create community engagement assets with those identities. Refine and retool existing brand identities for completed urban planning projects and apply them to final report documentation.

process

Each time I received a new project, I would create a Pinterest board of general inspiration, then check in with the urban planning team to get a sense of what direction they wanted to go in. From there, I'd sketch a few different options, refine a couple of my favorites, and check in with the team again. Then, it was just a matter of applying the system I had created to websites, postcards, flyers, banners, surveys, and any other materials the team needed.

reflections

My time at Pashek + MTR taught me so much, both about design and about myself. I refined my client process, learned more about InDesign than I knew was possible to know, explored my city, and got to work with some incredible people. I'm indescribably grateful for my experience there.
