Design a poster for the University of Michigan's production of Indecent.

I met with the director of the show a few times to figure out what their vision was. They made a moodboard expressing the style they were going for, and I read a copy of the script to better understand what the play was about. We chose the recurring rain motif to highlight in the posters and combine with the grunge style that the director liked. I made four different iterations, the director picked his favorite, and we iterated from there.
This project really taught me the value of communication with clients—not just the person I'm directly working with, but also making sure that other important members of the client's team (such as producers and other designers) are part of the conversation.
